Venue Logomark & Branding

I started my design career at Live Nation, designing posters and social advertisements for all of the House of Blues as well as other venues. One of my final projects was branding Live Nation's newest venue: The Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, Kentucky, located on the city's bustling 4th Street.

The logomark references the shield motif present on the facade of the historic Wright and Taylor Building, in which the venue is located.

Now, ten years on, the mark still hangs over each crowd as they sign, cheer, and cry each night.
